New PS3 commercial: Amusingly, the boyfriend in the background is clearly playing LittleBigPlanet. Which makes it even more unbelievable that he hasn’t hooked it up to the internet yet, right? But maybe he scored a pre-recall version of LBP, and is enjoying the vocal track on “Tapha Niang”. Consider that, Mr. What’s-wrong-with-him! [Update: Yes, we have to [...] Franco-American fans like myself have noticed some similarity between a set of LBP ads being shown in France and those in the UK: Cullen Family – French, English. Rock’n’Roll – French, English. LittleBigPlanet rules in either language, but I would’ve loved to see a French translation of “Play with everythiiiiing!”. Has anyone seen any other localized versions of these [...] Looking for LittleBigPlanet before the new version ships to your area? Some retailers aren’t paying much attention to the recall. No luck around my hometown, though, so far. It makes me wonder what the repercussions (if any) are for the retailer. Since it was recalled before the street date, could the retailer be in breach [...] PAX A games blog over at the Portland Mercury seemed impressed by LittleBigPlanet, and were nice enough to point out something that I think is being largely overlooked: Unlike most world-building games, this platforming section is robust enough to functionally be its own game, much to the delight of those who don’t have any desire [...] Looks like Wal-Mart has an exclusive trailer to encourage pre-orders there as well. With even more camera angle goodness. And ghosts, and a skateboard passenger, and rolling the orange and football across a bridge, and… Unfortunately, they do have the game in their database as “Little Big Planet”, and the URL for the trailer implies that [...] [Update: Definitely the official E3 2008 Trailer.
