Quite a few sites picked up the news (TheSixthAxis,GamesIndustry.biz,SCRAWL,Sarcastic Gamer,Platform Nation,Edge Online,TheGameReviews,TalkPlaystation,LivingPS3,videogaming247,Evil Avatar,GameKult,PS3 Fanboy,among others). Some sites were positive about it (most notably Sarcastic Gamer’s take,which is worth [...] Those of us who’ve pre-ordered LittleBigPlanet on Amazon.com were recently notified of a release date change. From October 31st,which is a nice safe date when Sony says “October”,to a much more seemingly-specific October 21st. That,combined with images floating around of Target pre-order cards with the exact same date,lead us to [...] Just a few bits before E3 begins tomorrow: Could this be the LittleBigPlanet booth at E3? I guess we’ll find out in the next few days. It looks too big to fit on one of the PlayStation Experience trucks,so if not E3 then where? TheSixthAxis’s E3 predictions give LittleBigPlanet a 75%-100% chance of [...] TheSixthAxis and a few other places are posting images of someone playing “LittleBigPlanet Beta”showing up on a PSN Friends List. As was the case back in April when something similar occurred,I wouldn’t consider Friends List screenshots as proof of anything. That said,we do have this from the David Smith interview with Eurogamer: [...] There are images running around the internet of a Friends List showing someone playing “LBP Build 1463″. Apparently the submitter claims to have additional proof of playing this dev build of LittleBigPlanet,but the consensus seems to be that it is an exploit being used to fake the Friends List contents.
