Not really;we weren’t even that close. We were sad to have to skip Eurogamer Expo in favor of more affordable local affairs,and even sadder when we were told that it was to be the site of the first LittleBigPlanet Mini Fan Meet. True,the GameX event in Philadelphia was a lot of fun,and not devoid of star power (Thanks for the autograph,Yahtzee;nice talk,Clint;plus I got to watch Zaboo,Vork,and Clara play Rock Band). But filled with envious rage are we,what with all the forum posts and interviews (SackCast,Critical Gamer) and pictures full of fun. It turns out that the legendary StevenI really does exist (I lost that bet). 
Here’s hoping that there’s soon a stateside Mini Fan Meet (announced well in advance);my vote is for Chicago,but that seems unlikely.
