Post-Beta Pre-Launch Blues Part Four

Looking for LittleBigPlanet before the new version ships to your areaSome retailers aren’t paying much attention to the recall.  No luck around my hometown, though,so far.  It makes me wonder what the repercussions (if any) are for the retailer.  Since it was recalled before the street date, could the retailer be in breach of contract if they respond to the recall with “sorry,we already sold them”?  And worse,do these sales cause a problem for the computation of sales figures?

Things I need:The little plastic Sackboys that are being sent to reviewers, and this jumbo French Sackboy.

Mainstream love:The London Free Press says Sackboy is going to take over the planet, but not which planet.  There’s an enthusiastic piece in The Evening Standard.  Investor’s Business Daily wonders if Sackboy can rescue PlayStation 3.  November’s Family Circle has a section called “Power Play”urging parents to join their children for videogame time.  Within it they have a “Playing Smart”list of games that they consider “a blast to play and mentally stimulating too”;  LittleBigPlanet is there, along with such luminaries as Psychonauts and Portal.

Those unfamiliar with Japanese TV ads think that this LBP teaser is strange;looks pretty typical to me.  Here in America,in these unpleasant times,it’s good to be reminded:fun does matter.

This is really a great LBP Blog! I enjoy reading it a lot :)

I’m from germany and today would have been the release day. Now it’s scheduled for 7th of November on Amazon.de :(
Also couldn’t find any non-recalled copy in the local shops. Guess it will be 2 looong weeks for me.

Those plastic sackboys are awesome! But you propably can’t even buy them on eBay –who would ever sell one of those?
BTW what’s your progress on retrieving that building from Leipzig? ;)
